The neck is rounded out with the large corners removed, then smoothed and the mane begins to emerge.
Once the head was put to the neck, (note the turn the head was given) the jaw line was shaped, teeth, mane more detailed.
Next the ears will b e carved, the hasd sanded then the final detailing, in mane, and expression.
The body box is shaped, drilled for the pole, then one of the sides attached. The body will be ready to carve by weeks end.
The body is routed, then the large corners sawed off.
At this stage the chisel carving will begin.
